90th Anniversary of The Battle of Vimy Ridge, 2007
In April 2007, over 5,000 Canadian students made their own pilgrimage to Vimy Ridge after a vast overhaul and restoration of the memorial by the Canadian government. The memorial was re-dedicated by King Edward VIII's niece, Queen Elizabeth II.
